Announcements, Network Maintenance and Outages
All ISPs have outages. Network providers aren’t doing their job if they don’t proactively patch and update the software on the machines they maintain. Network providers aren’t looking out for their customers if they don’t enhance and upgrade their network hardware regularly.
What sets ipHouse apart from other Internet access and managed server providers is how we handle outages and our dedication to keeping our customers informed.
ipHouse Announcements is used for general announcements about our company and our services. It is used to communicate information about enhanced services, network upgrades and general PR information.
ipHouse Network Maintenance and Outages is the list that sets us apart from all other ISP’s. It is used to communicate information about scheduled and unscheduled downtime and maintenance. If something happens on our network, we will tell you. If we are planning scheduled maintenance, we will let you know in advance.
This commitment to honestly telling our customers (and the public) what is happening on our network is unique in the industry.
ipHouse is able to be honest about our outages because they are so rare. The ipHouse network is engineered for reliability and redundancy. We have multiple high-speed connections to national Internet backbones and run our services on load-balance, clustered hardware wherever possible. We use Network Attached Storage with hot swappable drives and hardware with dual connectivity and power. We pride ourselves on our ability to get Internet infrastructure online and keep it online.
